I feel I'm missing out on the Jubilee fever. Back in 1977 I was scouring the newspapers for Jubilee related articles to paste into my Jubilee scrap book (I was only 4 at the time).
I guess that there might be some celebrations in Auckland but I'm not sure whether I'll arrive in time. I fly from Santiago at 23.20 tonight (1 June), and arrive early in the morning on Sunday 3 June. Somewhere along the (international date) line I lose a day.
I've just been told by my London neighbour that there is going to be a Jubilee street party. Community finally arrives at Stapleton Road!
